For those of you who hadn't notice it yet, Golden Shower not only is the name of the virus behind Markus Karlus and Kevin Rodgers, but also the monicker by which their music project is known to the public. This enterprise has a limited life span, since it represents only the first step in the great world domination scheme designed by the virus. This also implies that, being merely the tools for that intent, Markus Karlus and Kevin Rodgers are completely disposable, for even if the virus succeeds in taking over the international hit parade, which is very probable, it would with no delay switch its attention to other areas of pop-ular culture, while the two partners would be summarily discarded.

Another important aspect of this project is that Golden Shower does not perform the kind of real time execution of their music before a group of people, what we'll agree to call a "show". The main reason is that the intricate musical tapestry woven by the duet from the purest electronic sounds is too complex to be recreated live by human beings. Add to that the fact that the group chose to disseminate its output solely by means of this powerful new medium known as inter-net.

Likewise, there's also their seeming unwillingness to appear in public, let alone to perform a "show". This might be due to some residue of artistic integrity still rooted in Markus Karlus' and Kevin Rodgers' hearts, remainder of their former incarnations as avant-garde classical composers. A reputation that the duo still intend to recover one day, after being set free from the clutches of the ruthless virus.
